Where We Hunt
Our hunts take place on the remote South End of Kodiak Island, an area renowned for its rugged terrain and high concentrations of wildlife. From Greater Deadman Bay to the surrounding shoreline and high-country areas, the region offers some of the best opportunities for Sitka black-tailed deer and mountain goat hunting. With the F/V Valiant and skiff transport, we make accessing these remote locations safe, reliable, and straightforward, so you can focus on your hunt.

Getting to Kodiak Island
The fastest and most common way to reach Kodiak Island is by air. Most hunters fly into Kodiak Benny Benson State Airport (ADQ) via Anchorage, with daily flights available from Alaska Airlines. Flights from Anchorage to Kodiak typically take about an hour and provide the quickest connection for beginning your hunting adventure.

Transport to the F/V Valiant
Once you arrive in Kodiak, we coordinate floatplane transfers to and from the F/V Valiant, getting you to your hunting base for the week quickly and safely. Each day, our skiff then takes you from the vessel to remote shoreline access points, putting you right in the heart of Kodiak Island’s prime hunting grounds.
